Don't Look Up
Life is a journey and we don't know when, where or how it ends which makes the mystery of it so captivating. The reality that it could end at any moment makes each step so dear. This piece is written as reflection on my journey from my future self. I hope these words ring true when the bell tolls...It's titled "Don't Look Up"

As I Sit...
Nature has a way of connecting me to the bigger unchanging aspects of life. It always brings humility, admiration and life to my soul. On a fallen log, I muse at its life...

Curves of the Road
The journey of life is often compared to the adventure of a road. This poem is about the moments of unknowns in our life that can't be avoided like curves on a road. Since life is filled with them, we should appreciate these moments because just like curves in a road, they take us where we need to go. And I believe - they can be the most fun!

What Lies Beyond
Mount Denali is a massive hidden jewel 75% of the time when viewed from McKinley Lodge. Clouds shroud "The Great One", but on our last day I was fortunate enough to see the summit peak out of the passing clouds 30 miles away. I think it provides incredible imagery to this poem about how what lies ahead of our lives is often concealed, but on rare occasion we get that coveted glimpse into a bright future.
